This trip is customized heading to Mgahinga National Park for Gorilla trek and golden monkey tracking experiences. Besides that you will also hike the Batwa trail to soak up the rich history and lifestyle of this ethnic group of people.

Day1: Kampala/Entebbe – Drive to Mgahinga

Have morning breakfast and after embark the vehicle with our safari guide for a transfer to Kisoro.

En-route stop at the Uganda Equator is included and after have lunch in Mbarara. After lunch continue to the park, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience.

Have breakfast and after take 30 minutes’ drive to park headquarters for the briefing about the great apes and how to behave while in their presence. After briefing you enter into the jungle looking for these gorillas. Once you meet these gorillas you are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour.

Day 3: Hike Batwa Trail

Have breakfast and after transfer to the park offices for the briefing about this community trail. After participate in this full day experience understanding the historical and current lifestyle of the Batwa.

This walk will take you through the Garama cave. After return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking – Lake Bunyonyi

Have morning breakfast and after go for golden monkey tracking. After the tracking have lunch and later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi – Drive back to Entebbe

Have morning breakfast and after embark the safari jeep for transfer back to Entebbe with en-route lunch in Mbarara. After transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your return flight back home.
