On this tour you will visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the South western part of Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and transfer to your hotel.
Day 1: Kampala – Drive to Bwindi
After your breakfast in the morning, pack your luggage and embark the Safari jeep. The journey to Bwindi starts via Kampala- Masaka- Mbarara road.
En route stop over at the equator is included for a brief explanation, photos, souvenirs and snacks. After, continue with the journey to the Park, lunch is provided in Mbarara town.
Thereafter, proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check in for relaxation, diner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Lake Bunyonyi
Have early morning breakfast, after drive to the starting point where you will be briefed by the park officials about how to behave in the jungles.
You will be divided into groups of 8 people since each gorilla family is allowed to be visited by one group of eight people per day.
After briefing, each group is assigned to park rangers for the journey heading to the Jungle following the permanently established routes in search of these apes. After locating these apes in the Jungles you are allowed to stay in their presence for only one hour.
Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi – Drive to Kampala – Departure.
After a local boat ride along waters of Lake Bunyonyi you start your journey back to Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces. Our guide will drop you to the hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
